New Wave Skateboards is an independent skateboard company focused on street skating.
We design and sell skateboard decks built for real street and park skating, featuring raw, graphic-driven artwork and proper popsicle shapes. Every deck is made to be skated — not collected — and tested in the kind of environments skateboarding was built on: curbs, stairs, parking lots, and DIY spots.
Our graphics explore themes of control, resistance, chaos, and expression. They reflect the tension and creativity that have always been part of skateboarding culture, especially underground and 90s-inspired street skating.
New Wave Skateboards is not a fashion label or a lifestyle brand. We focus on skateboard decks, honest graphics, and functional design for skaters who care about how their board feels and rides.
Our decks are built using high quality Canadian maple, 3 layers of eco friendly basalt fiber reinforcement, giving the board a natural feel, the same as a standard 7 layer deck with the added bonus of a deck with sustained pop and a deck that last longer. We are transparent with our prices and offer a product at a rate that people can afford. We know our decks are comparable to other decks across the market that are selling at a cost 40-50 percent higher than the cost of our decks.
